5 Day Seven Churches of Revelation & Cultural Tour

Day 1:

Upon your arrival at Izmir, meet your tour guide and drive to Selcuk Region. Drive to Ephesus and visit the ancient city of Ephesus.(Vahiy 2:1-7) There you walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings such as the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the Theatre. Later we drive to the House of Virgin Mary where she spent her last days and the assumption took place. After that, you visit seven sleepers cave and the Basilica of St. John and Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. Transfer to İzmir. Dinner and overnight in 4* Kaya Prestij Hotel (in the city center)

Day 2:

After open buffet breakfast in our hotel, we will visit Agora Open Air museum in İzmir.(Vahiy 2:8-11).Drive to Pergamum (Vahiy 2:12-17)and we will take lunch here. There you'll explore the impressive Acropolis, the actual ancient city and see the Altar of Zeus. Later continue to Asklepion, the famous medical center of classical times, you'll also visit the Red Basilica (St. John’s Church) then continue the drive to Thyatira, now called Akhisar. There you'll see the remains of a basilica and some architectural fragments from the Roman period. Dinner and overnight in Pergamum La Bella Hotel.

Day 3:

After open buffet breakfast in our hotel we will drive Akhisar (Tiyatira). (Vahiy 2:18-29) We will visit ruin of Tiyatira Cemetery and historical village of Bintepeler. There you'll see the remains of a basilica and some architectural fragments from the Roman period. Lunch in Salihli city centre. Then we will go to Sardis Ruins (Sart) (Vahiy 3:1-6)Sardis was the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Lydia, ruled by King Croesus (560-546 BC). Later, it was an important Roman city. You will visit the great temple which became a Byzantine Church later. You will also visit the restored gymnasium and the Synagogue, mint and jewish shops. Dinner and overnight in 4* Lidya Sardes Thermal Hotel. You can take a rest and you can use thermal pool and sauna complimentarily in our thermal hotel.

Day 4: 

After open buffet breakfast in our hotel we will go to the healing city of Hierapolis where hot mineral water bursts from the earth and cascades over steep cliffs forming pools. There you'll visit the Martyrium of the Apostle Philip. You will see ancient necropolis and theatre. Lunch in Hierapolis. Then you will walk around amazing pamukkale travertines. Dinner and overnight in 4* Grand Itimat Hotel in Denizli city centre.

Day 5:

After open buffet breakfast in our hotel we will g oto Ruins of Laodice. (Vahiy 3:14-22) You can walk the ancient streets of the city and see the ancient structures. Then we will visit Ruins of Colossai. Then you'll continue the journey to Philadelphia. There you'll see the remains of a Byzantine basilica built of bricks, with a bit of high arch and some 11th-century frescoes. We will visit Philadelphia Church. (Vahiy 3:7-13) After that, we will drive to İzmir Airport. End of the tour.
